Yesterday, we got to explore a beautiful cathedral in Santo Domingo and its huge bell tower. The best thing about it— everything was decorated in chickens (superior to all animals in my opinion). Anyway, the bells in the tower were huge and I may have been a tad bit concerned about losing all hearing because Dane and I made it to the top almost right at noon (but as far as I know my ears still work…)
